The FG-7 is a monochrome frame grabber suitable for quantitative imaging
applications. Capable of controlling integrating CCD cameras the FG-7 is
especially suited to low-light situations. Its integrated video output
allows connection to external monitors or video printers, making it
particularly useful in gel documentation applications.
The FG-7 frame grabber comes with several software options providing flexibility in use. ImageJ modules are provided for use with the popular, free image acquisition and analysis package from the National Institutes of Health. TWAIN modules allow the use of the FG-7 with a wide variety of third party applications. Additionally, software development libraries are included at no charge for those developing their own applications.
